Hi,
Welcome to this edition of our newsletter. We have some wonderful news to share. We have been awarded the ALA student chapter of the year award! Thanks to everyone for taking time to engage with our group. We hope to continue to bring you helpful information, and fun and engaging events!

Did you miss Poetry Open Mic Night?
Thank you so much for registering or participating in ALASC’s Spring 2024 Poetry Open Mic Night! We hope you had a wonderful time listening to current SJSU students share their work. Thank you once again to Shannon, Erica, Quarry, and Kevin for joining to create a space of creative community!
For those of you who were not able to attend the event (or those who would just like to rewatch!), the video recording of the event is now uploaded to the SJSU ALASC YouTube channel. Please click here to access the recording!
If you attended the live event and did not already fill out our feedback form, please consider taking a few moments to do so! Your feedback will help us improve the event for the future and gauge whether there is interest to hold this kind of event again.
Poetry Open Mic Night was our last event for this semester, so thank you to everyone who has supported ALASC, and we hope to see you at our future events in the fall! If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
